What is the difference between EdP and Extrait within one fragrance?

It is the same perfume notes but differently balanced.
Eau de Parfum contains 15-20% fragrance concentration, emphasizing heart and top notes.
Wear time: 5-8 hours.
Parfum Extrait (pure perfume, also known as Parfum) is about 20-40% strength - depending on fixatives - accentuating base notes for long-lasting performance.
Wear time: up to 24 hours.
Thus, selecting the concentration will alter the perfume's aroma.

How do I use a French flacon (glass-stoppered bottle)?

We are selling Parfum Extraits only in French flacons - an old-fashioned way of applying highly-concentrated perfumes, bringing an olfactory experience to a whole new level.
It is a glass 15 ml bottle with a glass stopper, produced by traditional perfumery glass manufactury in France.
To use it, you gently flip the flacon upside down, carefully open the stopper with screwing movements, and transfer the perfume with the stopper to your pulse spots.

What is artisanal perfumery?

All of our perfumes, and other items in our shop are made by hand. We work with small batches to ensure the end product's highest quality, correctness, and safety. We make our fragrances from scratch, mixing and blending essential oils, creating accords that are added to the purest carrier base. Everything is made with careful attention to the smallest detail.
Then it also comes to the story and philosophy behind every product and every scent.

Are your perfumes gender aimed?

Our line of perfumes is unisex, meaning they can be worn by both men and women. However, the scent may slightly smell different on different individuals depending on their body chemistry. The scents tend to have a woody undertone on men, while on women, they will remain more floral and powdery. It's important to note that scent can vary for each person.

Do you use only natural ingredients in your collection of fragrances? Are they organic?

Yes, our fragrances are organic - we do not use any kind of synthetics or chemicals. This is what "Botanical Perfumery" stands for.
We guarantee that all perfumes are made of high-quality essential oils IFRA-compliant with cosmetic-grade ingredients.

Can I get allergy reactions to the botanical fragrances?

In rare cases, you may experience a slight allergy when getting our perfumes on your skin, as they are based on pure essential oils (cinnamon oil can cause slight irritation, for example). However, this is very individual and varies from person to person. If any allergic reaction occurs, immediately discontinue the use of the product, wash the affected area thoroughly, and consult with your physician.
IMPORTANT: Notes of the fragrances are not their chemical constituents. If you have allergies to certain chemical ingredients (of natural origin) that you know of, please see INCI for the product. For example, linalool, limonene, eugenol, citronellol, and similar are the most-known allergens that can be found in organic essential oils. Those are listed in the information details under every perfume; please read them carefully.

Are your perfumes tested on animals?

Absolutely NOT.
Testing on animals goes against our botanical and cruelty-free philosophy.
We don't use any ingredients in our perfumes that were tested on animals either.

All of our products have cosmetic safety certification.

Are your perfumes cruelty-free and ethically sourced?

Yes. We use botanical ethically-sourced materials from verified suppliers.
We do not use any natural cruelly-sourced animal scents either - only a botanical imitation of it or cruelty-free animalic materials collected without interaction with an animal.
HYRECEUM
Hyreceum Pheromones are fossilized rock-like excrement formed from the urine of the Hyrax, which is powdered and then tinctured in alcohol over a long period of time.
AMBERGRIS
An excrement from the Sperm whale that floats on the ocean and then is collected on the shores. The procedure is the same: the material is dried and tinctured in alcohol over a long period of time.

How long do your perfumes live on the shelf?

Officially, the expiration time for all cosmetic products is 36 months.

However, if you keep our perfumes away from direct sun and heat exposure, they will last even longer.
With time, perfumes mature and develop which may cause the scent to shift towards certain notes more vivid than it was in the beginning when perfume was newly purchased.

Do not use any of the fragrances while pregnant or nursing.
Do not consume internally.
Keep away from children and pets.
Do not apply perfumes when attending beaches or spending a significant amount of time exposed to the direct sun*.
*Some perfumes contain citrus notes (orange, mandarin, lemon, grapefruit, neroli, bergamot, and similar) that can cause photo-sensitization during extended direct sun exposure.
Always test with a small amount of perfume on your skin before using it full-time.

How fast do you process orders? / When will my order be shipped?

Usually, we prepare orders within 1-3 business days (weekends are not counted), unless stated otherwise. But sometimes, during holidays or significant sale events, we may take longer to fulfill the orders due to the high workload.

You can always see our current schedule at the top of our website saying "ORDERS PROCESSING TIME: X-X BUSINESS DAYS".

- If your order comes on Tuesday 15:15, it will be sent on Friday.

Do you accept item returns or exchanges?

We do not accept returns or exchanges.
If your order arrived damaged, do not hesitate to send us an email with the photos and order number provided, and we will be sure to fix or replace your items.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, you can cancel your order until it is shipped. Preferably, within one hour as we may prepare and seal your order the same day.

SHIPPING

Do you ship internationally? Are there any additional fees?

We deliver inside Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and specific countries from Sweden using FedEx Priority. Please be aware that extra fees like taxes and import duties are not covered in our shop prices. To control this and to be aware of it is the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what additional costs may apply to your purchase (if any). Also, we encourage you to check this information before placing an order.

Will I be able to track my package?

Yes, all packages receive an international FedEx tracking code which you will see in "My Orders" as soon as your order is sent. And also, there will be an email from us with the tracking details.

How long does the shipping take?

Shipping takes different times depending on the distance. All packages are sent with FedEx Priority from Uppsala (Sweden) with a tracking code, which you will receive in a separate email.
Approximate* shipping times (business days):
1-2 business days within the EU.
2-3+ business days overseas.
*Note that the delivery estimation may slightly vary due to customs control or human-factor reasons. 
If you are worried that your package is lost or something happened to it, please let us know, and we will gladly help you.

What are the shipping rates?

Domestically (Sweden):
Free shipping.

International:
On orders under 90€ - 85 Swedish Crowns (approx. 7,5€; currency exchange may vary).

On orders over 90€ - Free shipping.
